There are many key Portage County organizations that have been coordinating a local response to the potential loss of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) funding that is set to lapse November 1st. We thank the Portage County Health District, The Portager, United Way and other organizations that have helped put out and put together this information. If you have any resources that you know of that we could add to the list, please let us know.
The Portage County Health District has introduced a Food Resource Dashboard to search for local food pantries and view locations on an interactive map.
